Audi Q5 will be built starting at 2015 in Mexico

After a long struggle within the VW Group, Audi is now for each other: The Ingolstädters may build a factory in Mexico. A Top-Manager of the VW group has also been told that the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga (USA) may be expanded and the daughter as Audi cars may start producing.

At the next meeting of the Board of Directors on April 18, VW, Audi plans will be sealed. The new plant in Mexico will begin production in 2015. There will be the next generation Audi Q5 to be built.
Audi chief Rupert Stadler is thus an offensive on the North American market launch because Audi is so far behind BMW and Mercedes-Benz in terms of sales. Stadler also assured that in Ingolstadt, where now the Q5 is produced as compensation va 2015, a different model is built so that no job losses may occur.
